Adipic Acid is a dicarboxylic acid used primarily in the production of nylon and polyurethane, and as a food additive.
- Nylon Production: Used as a monomer in the production of nylon-6,6 and other polyamides. - Food Industry: Applied as an acidity regulator in food products (E355). - Polyurethane Production: Used in the production of polyurethanes and other synthetic polymers. - Chemical Manufacturing: Used in the production of plasticizers, lubricants, and ester-based products.
