  • Manufacturing rubber substitutes; with amorphous phosphorus as ignition surface for matches; pyrotechny; manufacturing pigments.
  • Curing agent for polysulfide, low-molecular weight butyl and polyisoprene; used as an oxidizer in the manufacture of dyes and to control burning in incendiary fuses.
