Cetearyl Alcohol is a mixture of cetyl and stearyl alcohols (e.g. 30/70, 50/50) supplied as flakes. It is a widely used thickener and stabiliser in emulsions.

- Pharmaceuticals: Ointment and cream base.
- Detergents: Foam regulator.
- Industrial: Raw material for ethoxylates.
