Privacy notice under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
At Klar Kimya San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. we take the protection of the personal data of everyone who visits our website and contacts us seriously. This notice has been prepared under Article 10 of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and explains which of your data we process, for what purpose, and what rights you have.

2. Personal Data We Process
Only the data you send us through the site is processed. There is no registration or membership requirement.
- Identity and contact data
- The name, company name, e-mail address and telephone number you provide when completing the contact or quotation form.
- Content of your enquiry
- The product, quantity and free-text information contained in your message.
- Transaction security data
- The IP address and browser information processed during form submission as part of the security check (reCAPTCHA).
- Visit statistics
- Aggregated, anonymous statistics such as pages viewed, referring address, country and device type. This data is not used to identify you.
3. Purposes of Processing
- To answer your enquiries and questions and prepare price quotations.
- To carry out order, shipment and after-sales processes.
- To send commercial and technical documents (SDS, certificate of analysis, invoice, etc.).
- To fulfil our financial and legal obligations.
- To keep the website secure and prevent abuse and automated form submissions.
- To measure the use of the site and improve our content.
4. Legal Grounds
Your personal data is processed on the following legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK:
- Processing is necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c).
- Processing is necessary for the data controller to fulfil a legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç).
- Processing is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (Art. 5/2-f).
- In all other cases, your explicit consent.
5. Method of Collection
Your personal data is collected through the contact and quotation forms on our website, by e-mail, telephone and WhatsApp — by means that are not fully automated and on the basis of your own declaration. No profiling or automated decision-making takes place on our site.
6. Transfer of Personal Data
Your data is never sold or rented to third parties for marketing purposes. Transfers take place only in the following cases and are limited to their purpose:
- To legally authorised public institutions, within the scope of requests arising from legislation.
- To service providers such as accountants, legal advisers, banks and insurers, in order to fulfil our obligations.
- To transport, customs brokerage and logistics companies where an order needs to be shipped.
- As part of the Google reCAPTCHA service used for form security, IP and browser information is transferred to the provider's servers located abroad.
The Umami software we use for visit statistics is hosted on our own server; this data is not shared with advertising networks.
7. Cookies
No advertising or tracking cookies are used on our site. The cookies in use are strictly necessary for the site to function:
- Session cookie
- Maintains your session while a form is being submitted; it expires when the browser is closed or the session times out.
- Security cookie (CSRF)
- Prevents form submissions from being made through forged requests.
- Language preference
- The site language is determined by the language code in the address bar (for example /en/...); no separate tracking cookie is used for this.
8. Retention Period
Your personal data is retained for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it is processed and for the limitation and retention periods prescribed by legislation (in particular the ten-year period under the Turkish Commercial Code and the Tax Procedure Law). Once the period expires, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
9. Your Rights under Article 11 of the KVKK
By applying to the data controller you may exercise the following rights:
- To learn whether your personal data is being processed.
- To request information if it has been processed.
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose.
- To know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom the data is transferred.
- To request the correction of incomplete or inaccurately processed data.
- To request the erasure or destruction of the data under the conditions laid down in the law.
- To request that correction, erasure and destruction be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred.
- To object to a result against you arising from analysis carried out exclusively by automated systems.
- To claim compensation if you suffer loss because of unlawful processing of your data.
10. How to Apply
You may submit requests concerning your rights, together with information identifying you, through the channels below. Depending on the nature of the request, your application is concluded free of charge within thirty days at the latest.
