TerraSystem stone carpet is a seamless surface of small natural stones bound with a solvent-free binder. For pool decks, terraces, balconies, garden paths, stairs, interiors and wet areas; outdoors it lets rainwater through, stays slip-resistant and keeps its colour. For quality and warranty, it is installed by TerraSystem's own technical crew.
Stone carpet is a floor covering in which small, carefully selected natural stones, rounded by water, are bound with a solvent-free binder into a seamless surface. It is laid on floors, stairs and walls, indoors and outdoors.
Its open-pore structure lets rainwater drain into the ground outdoors, so no puddles form. Where needed, the pores can be sealed to make it liquid-tight. Stone carpet, epoxy stone flooring, pebble flooring and resin-bound gravel describe the same family of surfaces.

For renovating old staircases and for new builds, indoors and outdoors. The stairs can generally stay in use during installation. Binders are based on acrylic, polyurethane (PU) and epoxy (EP) resin; aluminium profiles protect the step edges.

LGA Bautechnik measured the water infiltration and the compressive strength (DIN 18136) of outdoor stone carpet. Infiltration rate k* was 0.354–0.534 cm/s, many times the 0.01 cm/s required for sports grounds. According to the test report, the compressive strength is in the usual range for outdoor paving stones.
